are very advanced and are also wireless so there are to be no more wires
trailing across your room. The wireless controllers of the Playstation 3
use Bluetooth technology to connect to the Playstation 3 and up to seven
controllers can connect to the Playstation 3 at once which will offer some
insane multi player action. The Playstation 3 controller can also connect
to the Playstation 3 with a USB cable which will charge the batteries while
it is connected, this will be necessary from time to time but the batteries
have a long battery life so it should not be a problem.
The Playstation 3 controller also has a six way motion sensing capability so
that it can actually detect the movement of the controller in the user's hands.
This will open up some amazing possibilities for games as you will be able
to control the game by actually moving the controller around in the air as
well as the buttons and analogue sticks which should offer some amazing gameplay.
The Playstation 3 controllers are very similar to the PS2 controllers so will
be familiar to lots of Playstation gamers, there was an initial design that
was boomerang like but this was replaced due to fears that Playstation gamers
would not like them. So Sony decided to go back with the trusted and loved
design that is used with the PS2 so the Playstation 3 controllers have the
same two analogue sticks, four main buttons and triggers.
